We Are Off!

Right about now we are traveling or pulling into MQX in Manchester New Hampshire.

After reading about this show for years, I always wondered if I my quilts could make it in!

Well they did.....and not only one-- but two did!

You can see them here and here.

This month it will be more of a challenge to get the simplest projects done. The next 5 months require me to be prepared if I am to accomplish anything fibery. So I have been prepping for upcoming challenges, retreats, gifts and quilting for customers.

This month I am going easy on myself. My goal is to finish this baby quilt that will be a gift as soon as it is done!

What Caught My Eye!

Coconut Macaroon Nests - perfect for Easter

LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! this YouTube video!

Other than quilting I am into this and this. I highly enjoyed so much I have listen to them several times.

Don't you just get a rush when there is that one little something that makes quilting life easier. Check out this wonderful nugget!

Here is the recipe for the Coconut Macaroon Nests.

Inspiration comes in many ways! This mother and daughter team takes turns posting what they find inspiring all the while hosting a weekly linking party. I have discovered many inspiring posts from them and others they have linked. Here is one I ended up doing!

Awhile back I stumbled onto Judy's blog and we have since shared many words . She is one heck of a domestic free motion quilter and she recently posted this YouTube on her blog showing you how to bury threads. Enjoy!

Thread & Burgers (Tut. Link)

What a Combo!

This weekend we had a yard sale.

And my mother was letting go of her slide cases.

My thoughts went to Thread Storage!
Remove the dividers and take off the lid.

You might be gasping at this rats nest.

But this is what my drawer had turned into!

And now it is this!

These metal trays lay so nice on each other!

Perfecto!

And for the Burgers!

Yesterday was still chilly here.
But we wanted BBQ!

The other day I was on CJ's blog at TinkSquared and she had a video
(linked on bottom of post) about making these burgers.
Along with that, CJ has allot of great recipes & tutorials to check out!
