Friends on Friday-Margery

I am not sure what line this is.
But it sure was fun!

Margery added various widths to the rectangle to create a rectangle.

It is hard to see but going with the theme of the seashore.
I quilted freehand clams with a feather within creating a shell look.

The bottle caps on the back fabric was darn cute!

A YouTube Gift From Nathan!

My oldest sent this to me today!

I Love It!
Thank You Nathan!

Love, Mom

January's ALYOF--Ho Ho Ho!

Late or early?
Guess it really doesn't matter.
It is DONE!

A few weeks ago I designated this to be my 1st ALYOF for 2015.
That post is HERE.

Sorry about all the shadows!

This one was fun to play with all kinds of stitches.

You can hardly see it in the photos, but I Micro-stippled our
name at the bottom.

Do you have a soft spot for Chalkboard Art?
I Love it!

Coming Along-I Think!

Here is what I am working on.
I am now hanging the pieces to keep some sort of organization to this pile!

These are the remainder of what needs to be basted and connected.
Then onto the row connection!

Also this is Eileen's Queen Bee block.

Eileen gave us the center square and the light fabric to use.

We were to make the Churn Dash Block and add a solid.
I adore the Oakshoot fabric.
Love how it changes color depending on the angle you hold it.

Seem to have a common hue going on here!

Unas Maravillosas Vacaciones!
(What a Wonderful Vacation!)

We just returned from Isle Mujeres, Mexico.
Which is a island that is 5 miles long off the coast of Mexico.

This is the small port on the island where we arrived by boat.

It was beautiful!

There were so many unique structures!

A bit dark!
A night at Olivia's Israelian restaurant.

Here is one of many high lights!
We went to a tucked away Women's Beading Co-op.
It reminded me so much of our quilting gatherings.

I loved these photos of this women!

The views where spectacular!

Here is my hubby coming with a cocktail!

While taking a short hike and looking down some cliffs
we spotted a lizard sunny!

This is my mothers veranda where we met for coffee most mornings.

While we were at the most southern part of the island we could see the mainland.

 View from my room!

I would not normally show this photo, but we were shocked to find the plane empty
on our return. There was maybe 20 other people in our section.
It was a little freaky flying with so few people.

I promise to stick to the fibery and quilty world in the next post.

A Moment of Weakness!

I am sure allot of you receive the Missouri Quilt Company's Daily Deal by email.
Well this Kona gem was there the other day when the my willpower was a bit sluggish!

This Bundle of Wonderfulness was 49% off!

So... I was wondering what you would do with it?
Because if I am totally honest--I have the hardest time unwrapping these
prefect bundles of JOY unless there is a plan.

Here is Jenny and I in Houston!
