Lucky Me!

This past week I celebrated yet another Birthday!
(when does the madness stop?)

Here is some of the quilty gifts I received.

MY MOM made this adorable piece!
 (she is my #1 supporter)

This design reminded my mom of me.
And I think she is right-piles to finish!
FYI!--I normally am not wearing a skirt and high heels!
This hangs so nice in my sewing room.
I Love It Mom-Thank You!

My friend Diane made this clever table topper for the fall.
You are the Hexing Queen!
 Thank You Diane!

Holds over 22 ounces of a drink inside the noodle! OMG!
This is not me in the photo!

When out on the boat the family is keeping me hydrated,
so I can come back refreshed to quilt!
Ya Right!

And my family got me a iPad.
WAHOO!

(photo is of blocks for a challenge in Sept)

I barely know how to turn it on
but I did find the quilting App pretty darn fast!
I can see this is going to cut into quilting time.
(But in a Good way!)

Friend's On Friday-Vicki

Here is another one of Vicki's beauties!

Vicki has a great eye for creating balance with
her color selection!

She choose the Curlz pantograph to compliment the quilt.

I've Been Tagged!

If you do not know Judy at Quilt Paradigm.
Let me introduce you!

Paradigm means-model, example and pattern.
Which is what Judy has created on her blog!

I stumbled onto her page and have been hooked.
I guess it can be called Blog Chemistry.
Whenever I see her post in my inbox,
I know I am in for a creative treat!

Here are a few recent pics from her blog.
Hop on over to see her great posts.
Pretty sure you might end up following her as well!

Judy does her quilting on her domestic machine.
Amazing!

I was lucky to be tagged by Judy to participate in the
"Around The World Blog Hop"
My big day is Monday August 4th.

The fun part about this blog hop is getting to meet other bloggers  and to hear and see what their creative & work process is.
Also I get to tag 3 blogs that I stalk enjoy reading & follow.

If you get a chance leave a comment on Judy's page,
I am sure she would love to hear from you.

Till We Quilt Again,

For The Winners!

Our guild recently had a challenge where
I made the ribbons for the winners.

Since still having visions of the Olympics,
I used their colors.

.
So with the help of my mom, she embroidered the
numbers onto the center hexagons.

Gold!

 Bronze!

 Silver!

Even though the colors to not correspondence with
the number placement.

I was OK with this since it was more about the
 colors looking good combined!
Don't you agree?
