Venice Block!

I have had the privilege to test blocks for Esther from I Patch And Quilt.  This paper piecing  pattern is easy to understand with some knowledge of this technique. I like that Esther includes several size blocks with your purchase.

The block above is going to be made into a pillow to go with a quilt that I am working on
(you can see on Instagram photo below).
However I also can see a striking quilt made with several size blocks in the future!

The sky is the limit as a lovely bed runner, table topper, holiday fabric tree skirt etc......

Here is the link to "October Sky" which is the other block I tested.

Here are the most recent photos from Instagram.

  1. This is beautiful! I love paper piecing and this looks like fun. It really would make a beautiful quilt!

  2. That is a beautiful block! It would look amazing in a quilt with blocks of different sizes, and will be beautiful as a pillow, I'm sure.

  3. Your fabric selection on the block is stellar! I'm in love with that block.

  4. OMG! Eclipse is the most amazing thing I have seen! thanks for stopping my blog. the South American Trip was amazing, I am excited to share!
