Sharing!

Tulips On My Table!

Dare I say this dreaded little word that has given us cold sweats and has left us hyperventilating!  Is it two threads more or two threads less? Carrie may have answered and explained what those stinking Five Little Letters really mean.

Mother nature has teased us with some warmer weather, birds singing and buds starting to pop. But is anyone else having a hard time comprehending that it is almost Easter? Here are some cute Easter Goodies from Bree. Loving those Chickie Truffles!

A comment that I get often, since having a longarm is that the machine is why I can quilt what I do. This is partly true and partly false. The thing that many do not realize is the amount of hours of practice that goes into getting good (same with anything in life). This also applies for the domestic machine quilting as well. There are so many talented domestic free-motion quilters and here is just one of them.

While at QuiltCon, many of us were given a mini Triangle template in the swag bag. Here is a great tutorial on how to use one. I am hoping to carve out some time to give it a go.

Sometimes we stumble onto blogs that were just meant to be. Right before Christmas I was having a conundrum as to how to hang all those sewn decorations. And here was a wonderful answer.

Most of us have a Dresden template and if you don't, here is how you can simply make one. I came across a adorable simple table runner which would be a perfect Easter gift.

  1. So many fun things you've shared today! That I s a great write up on scant 1/4" seams. Amy is a phenomenal DM quilter, she always has great quilts and so much info to share. Whenever anyone comments on my "skill" quilting, I let them know I've done a lot of practicing, and they can quilt like this, too.
Love your links to the little tutorials.
I have my fingers crossed for you that spring is on its way...
