Graduation Quilt- Day #1 (Tutor.)

Secondary Logo
Day #1 of Graduations quilts I've made
over the past few years.

Brooke, my niece attends....

James Madison in Harrisonburg, Virginia

The "10 Minute Block" quilt goes together very quick.
(tutorial below)

The school colors are purple and gold!

Borders are left over blocks,
cut in half!

This is Brooke!

A mixed media wall piece I made of Brookes eyes.
(lean back and squint)

What I learned making Brooke's quilt:
Use any size square as long as they are all the same size.
Perfect for graduation quilts using two colors.
Fast enough to make in a weekend.
At first, if confused with dimensional piece-first pin
(as if stitched)then open to see if it falls right.
Layers Cakes are perfect to use-but I usually cut my own.
