What Not To Do When Sneaker Doodling!

A few weeks ago I posted about 

Sneaker Doodles Here! 

And there has been many that are going to try this. 

I thought you may like to know!

NOT TO DO THIS!

Spray them with Scotch Guard!

My thought was to Scotch Guard them so they would be sealed. 

WRONG!

(realized I should have only sprayed one to test-lesson learned!)

However what does work is

Modge Podge!

I just sponged a lite coat to seal it all in!

I chose to use two different shoe laces. 

Brooke can pick what she likes best.

Friend's On Friday-Martha & Her Niece

This quilt represents a new generation of learning to quilt. Martha's niece picked the fabrics from Martha's stash, with a little help.

Martha suggested maybe flowers since there were so many in the fabric print. 

 Martha's niece is in her early teens!

 She did a wonderful job however so does Martha--so this was no surprise.

 Pattern: Unknown

Batting; Extra loft

Quilting: Freehand Flowers
