Friend's On Friday-Kathy

Sit Back and Enjoy!

Kathy B. made this quilt while taking a class at Olde City Quilts in Burlington , NJ.
The class was a sampler using Bernina's feet.

When Kathy asked me to quilt this beautiful quilt, I was screaming inside with joy and fear!
This quilt is Amazing!

  3. You know, as I was scrolling through the photos, I was thinking to myself, "THAT'S a great way to use those decorative stitches on my Bernina! Maybe I SHOULD have gone for the next model up with more decorative stitches!" and "Wow, look at those perfect arcs of decorative stitches -- wonder if they used the Bernina Circular Embroidery Attachment or something similar?" :-) Hah! It's a gorgeous, gorgeous quilt and you definitely did it justice with the quilting. Both of you did a great job on it. Congratulations on a lovely finish!

I love Kathy's piecing and all that beautiful detailed stitching and then you added your talent to hers and BAM!! A beautiful quilt is born!! I am so fortunate to have both of you in my life to inspire me...thanx for sharing your work Kathy and Helen!!
