Snowflakes & Blueberry Martini's

What a combo-Right?
This time of year we I seem to be
all over the place.
Here is a few things to share!

This my quilt for our guilds retreat Challenge this year. We where to make a limited size piece that was a Christmas song title, we were not to use any letters or numbers. So "Let It Snow".

********************************************************************************

Recently while in Florida we had gone to Stonewood Grill & Tavern. I had one of the best drinks ever! So over Thanksgiving while my family was home we had to make these. And it would not be right if I didn't share this deliciousness with you. One of the most light and fresh drinks I ever had.

Blueberry Martini

Ingredients
8 fresh blueberries
1 ounce simple syrup
Ice
2 ounces Van Gogh blueberry vodka
Splash lemonade
Preparation
* Place seven blueberries and the simple syrup in a shaker and muddle them.
* Add Ice, the vodka and lemonade and shake vigorously.
* Strain into a chilled martini glass.
* Garnish with a fresh blueberry on the rim.

  1. I love these snowflakes, all different sizes on the blue background. I am so drawn to snowflakes and would be happy to have this wallhanging in my home. Anything with blueberries sounds good to me!
