What A Beauty!

WIP Quilting Accomplish!

Diane is a accomplished quilter, quilting teacher as well as long arm quilter.




This is a quilt she made for a classs as a sample last year.



Her plan was to give it as a gift for a family member getting married.




Health has become a major obstacle for her which left her unable to quilt this piece.




Knowing how much she enjoys the quilting process,
for her to ask for my help--I knew it was serious.



Diane likes allot of thread on a quilt.



So that is what she got!




















Diane, I hope you enjoy this as much as I enjoyed quilting it!

    Wow! Simply gorgeous! The piecing and the quilting are equally magnificent. I love all the colors and fabric involved in this top. I could look at the quilting for a long time...

    I only hope to become as talented as you! Excellent job on the quilting. So wish I could see this beauty in person. The piecing is so delicate looking on those swirling arms...Love it.

    The quilting is beautiful (as is the quilt). some special features: finishing the patchwork star in quilting; variety of textures; the feathery fill between the pieced plumes/feathers.

    What a great job you've done - she'll think it's perfect! I love the cross hatching in the borders and the mirror image of the stars. You've earned a definite, "WoW!"
