For the past few days I have been posting the progress of this quilt on
Instagram and Face Book.

You can find me here on

And I coming around the corner with the binding!

I plan to have the finished quilt hanging on the wall for when he comes
 home for Thanksgiving.

Gotta run-heading to Jersey Shore Modern Guild meeting!

  1. Aloha Helen! I found your blog on freshly pieced. I love the colors that you used! Blues and Grays... those are actually some of my favorites! The quilting is beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing. =)

  4. Looking good! Question: Did you mark the entire quilt with the wavy, curvy lines first? Or did you do that freehand? Inquiring minds want to know . . .

    1. Yes I marked the wavy lines with a ruler and freehand sewn the lines, I also drew on the diamonds and ruler sewn them.
I should have photos the Monday after Thanksgiving. I want my son to be the first to see it when he comes home on Wed.
