Tip-1
Keep bobbins that are already wound low on the board.
This way, all you do is look down to see if there is any matching bobbin that are already wound.

Tip-2
When doing charity quilts, use up all the partial wound bobbins.
These are metal bobbins for my long arm. The plastic bobbins for my domestic fit perfectly in the Bernina storage case.

ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! I wish I could do that but my bobbins are plastic so I keep them in a drawer in my sewing machine table. I mostly use the beige or navy for my piecing so don't have many different colours.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great idea for metal bobbins! My bobbins for my longarm are aluminum so that wouldn't work for me :(
