Square Ruler Table Runner
My hubby and son recently made this great table for our deck.
There is a hidden compartment in the center
for ice, beverages, flowers or food!
I wanted to make something special for when the girls are here!
The instructions are Here.
However--I had to change things and make it a little different!

This one is for my mom!
And this one I am keeping!

The idea for the squared table runner came from making
these this past Christmas for my quilting friends!

This one is for my mom!
And this one I am keeping!
I have already watched several quilt classes from this stand.
Have also found that you can prop a
quilt/cook book, when you need to following along.
This also can be used with your iPhone too!

ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing the links to all your projects - I really think some Ipad stands need to be added to the Christmas list. Your quilt is a very old traditional pattern, but the fabrics give it a different look indeed - nicely done.

ReplyDeleteYour "Rule" table runner is great. So wonderful on that table. The gingham quilt is beautiful. To me, it can be seen as both traditional and modern. .I`m going to make one of those IPad stands to hold my cookbooks. That`s a great idea.

ReplyDeleteI love your gingham quilt. I have templates and a pattern for this one I think that I have used for other quilts but would never have thought to use gingham. Gingham does make every pattern look new and refreshed.

Helen, I could spend the day reading your blog. I've been a follower but it's been a long time since I've visited. I hope to correct my mistake because you have so many wonderful projects and tips. I had to remind myself to return and comment on your beautiful quilts because I got lost in some of your previous blog posts. The one on how to block a quilt had me oohing and aweing (is that spelling correct?) Anyhooo I enjoyed my visit.

Wow! I love your ruler table runner - absolutely perfect!! Thank you for the link to the iPad stand - heading there next!! Love your gingham quilt...it is traditionally modern contemporary!! The quilting is definitely modern and wonderful, the block is more traditional and the fabrics are contemporary!!! That work for you??
